Sale Season: The Shopping Formula (part 2)
Well, that picture made you curious! There is a reason why I used Charlotte Tilbury’s male model as the picture for this mini post. Keep reading.
It’s almost the biggest day of the year when it comes to shopping. (Massive flat-screen TV anyone?) Black Friday deals are already happening days in advance. The hype for marked down products are filling your computer with cookies and let’s be honest, it’s hard to resist clicking on them.
Do yourself a favor and try to resist purchasing truly unnecessary items that pop on your screen. Cyber Monday may have better deals, but again, keep waiting if it’s truly unnecessary. The real deals happen after christmas and new years, although, there are some exceptions. This past week, some websites, such as the outnet and barney’s warehouse, are having amazing sales (up to 85% off retail). Note: many of these sales are final sale and to be honest, if you haven’t tried on a piece of clothing or a pair of shoes before purchasing, it’s kind of a gamble.
Another thing to be careful of are ‘flash sales’. The only flash sales i truly believe are good deals, are cosmetic and skincare brands, especially if you know what you are getting and it’s a part of your daily routine. Charlotte Tilbury is my go-to cosmetics and skincare brand and they always have the best deals for Black Friday. Plus, Charlotte tilbury creates different kinds of bundles so you can get more bang for your buck. How about holiday gift shopping for your friends, and even the man in your life?! Tilbury has a unisex hydrating tint cream that can be used on men and women alike (not on sale). And to top off all this goodness, you can receive Charlotte’s Scent of a Dream Fragrance for free, with a minimum purchase of $100 until November 27. Now this is a deal you can’t pass up.
